Kamarajar day
Our school celebrated kamarajar birthday celebration in a grand manner on 15th july 2019 with various competitions like drawing, oratorical in tamil and English . Principal Mrs. Sandhya Rani distributed prizes for the winners and addressed the gathering about the importance of the day.
An Overview
The first seed of Shri Krishnaswamy Group of Schools was sown on 1965 at Nungambakkam Chennai with only 17 students by our Founder Amarar Thiru M.A. Krishnaswamy. This school has grown into a Matriculation Higher Secondary School recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. In order to run more educational institutions efficiently in the city,he formed an educational trust under the name "Krishnaswamy Educational Trust (Regd.)" and started a chain of schools, on self-financing basis, at various parts of Chennai viz., Nungambakkam (1965), Anna Nagar (1973), K.K. Nagar (1979), Ashok Nagar (1984) and Villivakkam (1986).

Founder Message
Amarar Thiru M. A. Krishnaswamy, A.M.I.S.E., M.I.C.E., (U.S.A.) F.I.M.I., a revered educationist par excellence, was born on 17th March 1913 in an agricultural family at Kilavikulam village near Manamadurai, Sivagangai District, Tamilnadu. His parents were Amarar Thiru Malayathevar and Amarar Thirumathi Angammal. Seeing his brilliance, talent and knowledge, his paternal uncle Amarar Alagarswamy took Shri M. A. Krishnaswamy to Sri Lanka to pursue his education. Shri M. A. Krishnaswamy had a brilliant academic record securing proficiency at both school and college levels. It was but natural that he chose teaching as his noble profession in an endeavour not only to mould young minds, but also add direction to the student community.
